7. Oatmeal–Honey Scrub

Taking to account the moisturizing effect of honey and fusing with the exfoliating properties of oatmeal, this scrub remedies seems to be quite effective for anyone experiencing dry as well as rough hands. Oatmeal is a natural skin cleanser and works to ensure that you have soft and smooth hands in no time. For this remedy there are 3 requirements that include:
- Water – 2 tablespoons
- Honey – 1 tablespoon
- Ground oatmeal – 2 tablespoon
- Several drops of lemon juice (Optional)
Procedure
- First combine all the ingredients excluding water for later on.
- You will then add water as per the requirement, using lemon juice actually affects the amount of water needed. Ensure that your mixture turns into a smooth paste that you can easily apply to your hands.
- Now apply the paste to your dry, rough hands and leave it on for about 2 minutes. Then rub your hands gently for at most 10 minutes. You can always use some water if rubbing gets tough due to the dryness of the application on your skin.
- Finally wash your hands using warm, pat them dry and apply a hand moisturizer.
- For effective results, do this routine 3 times a week depending on the condition of your hands.
8. Olive Oil Hand Scrub

Did you know that you can get instant results while seeking soft smooth hands by using olive oil scrub? In simple terms, the olive oil scrub is actually an amazing blend of olive oil and sugar. The sugar provides the ultimate scrub texture that provides the excellent exfoliating effect to the hands, while the olive oil provides the hydrating or moisturizing effect needed after exfoliation. You will require 2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
Procedure
- Mix the 2 ingredients together.
- Now take your olive oil – sugar scrub and apply to your hands including your palms. Gently and in circular motion rub your hands for about 2 minutes.
- Then leave the scrub on for another 2 minutes after which you will wash with warm water, dry and apply a moisturizer.
- Have this procedure done twice to three times a week for the best results.
